| Umbrella is a pharmaceutical company, much like an Exxerds or Walgreens, or at least that is what they would appear to be to the public. They were established in 1973 by Ozwell E. Spencer, Edward Ashford & James Marcus. Umbrella has had a few very loyal associates: Colonel Sergei Vladimir, Agent HUNK & Seargent Nicholai Ginovaef. Umbrella has a few different branches too: The Special Forces Unit, an Alpha & a Delta Team, it's most prominent member is HUNK a.k.a. 'Mr. Death'. The U.B.C.S.(Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service), which is comprised of mercenaries and prisoners promised with freedom and money, along with Umbrella's Supervisors placed in, the most prominent being Nicholai Ginovaef a.k.a. Silver Fox. Sergei Vladimir is member who is very loyal to Umbrella, and follows any order given by Spencer without hesitation. James Marcus & Edward Ashford have both died, leaving Spencer to monopolize the company, but Umbrella has been finished as of 2003. As Umbrella has fallen, those that were in power struggle to resurrect a new Umbrella, and a few companies are still up & running, no doubt RE5 will show everything, The Organization, 'S', Willpharma, Tricell & Umbrella. Umbrella...dead, I don't know, it is temporarily sort of out of business, but I think that this time from 2003 to RE5, it is sort of like a little intermission for the climax. I agree, I think that Tricell is the new Umbrella. But of course, Umbrella is better! 
Not really, because they kill people, or did. |
