Could be. The lickers sure didn't look like the originals, they had something different in them... |
maybe they're the b type ones... theres no zombies anyway in the sneak preview so they might be the experimental ones, escaped from that crash or explosion |

Didn't the Lickers in RE5 have Progenitor?

not sure if there's any progenitor in them
yes i'm talking about damnation... they looked like the b ones.. bigger muscles, the only thing different is that they are too fast |

They're not that big. They're not that big. You can see one running over a corpse and it's only a little bigger than the dead guy. |

Every licker is initially blind. Other than their blindness, they seem to have a sensitive sound of hearing. But their protruding hearts are another one of their weakness. |

Hmm. Weird, that despite that they were not injected with Las Plagas, they still dissolve. Probably because of the Progenitor Virus that they were injected on. |

Had to check again  It didn't disintegrate, blood spurted out and it droped below screen.
