It looks as though Wesker was jealous of HUNK, saying that HUNK is just as cold and ruthless as Wesker is.

That wouldn't make any sense. Why would he be jealous of HUNK? HUNK is just a USS operative.

Wesker's position, aside from that Wesker Children BS from RE5, wasn't any more prestigous or higher than HUNK's really.

I'm sure they are pretty indifferent regarding one another.

Though I do agree Gregg, better, combat wise. HUNK has tons of experience, I'm sure hand to hand, firearms, etc. Other than the superhuman powers, Wesker wasn't someone that I considered a capable fighter, just in general.

From Wesker's tone, he seems to have a dislike for the soldier, despite the fact that he is just as cold and ruthless as Wesker is. This is presumably due to HUNK's involvement with the death of Wesker's close friend and rival William Birkin.

If you are referring to the Wesker's Report, I don't think you should read into how he narrated....

That said, I totally forgot about how HUNK was involved with Birkin's death...that could be a reason for dislike for sure.

When did he do that? Are you talking about the first report?

I remember him only saying something about HUNK getting a sample of the G virus before them. He never said anything about it, like if he cared.

And HUNK wasn't mentioned at all in Wesker's Report II.
