I always assumed the reason why it sounded like Ashley was because we know in 4 she was his priority and every time she would shout his name and at that moment in the trailer he was having an audio back(if they have an equivalent for a audio flashback) of her shouting his name but in actuality its Hunnigan

Huh... That's actually disappointing.

I feel the same. It would've been interesting to see how they would've worked her into the story.

This also breaks my secondary theory of it being that someone from the novels.

I'm pretty skeptical about it being Hunnigan =/ i'm sure that she is in the movie somewhere, but that didn't sound like her in my opinion

I honestly don't care what theydo to this movie, I just know that I'm probably not going to enjoy it at all; Resident Evil doesn't belong in the film genre, their stories are usually crap, and movies can't represent that which Resident Evil stands for let alone envoke the same feelings that you get when you're playing the games.

OK... My bad for not going through ten pages. It's not like that bit of info was the only thing I posted.
I was just pointing it out... because last time I 'personally' read anything It wasn't coming out till 2013.
Also, the only thing I saw (which I guess I could have over looked it) because I when through the pages just for you... but the only post I saw that mention the release day was
saw was it will be out sometime in the fall. Not the actual date.
