The first RE movie wasn't that bad, and the laser scene was amazing, but the lack of continuity and just screwing with the characters, the bad outweights the good, so Degeneration for sure.

Degeneration all the way (because it the REAL storyline) aaand maybe the first live action. I don't have anything against that, but the rest raping the whole series? No thanks.

the movies are well made of course my complaint its nothing like the game i mean where does alice come to play i mean r u serious? at least make it like in RE 1 when they had the actor cut scene in the start that was awesome! overall if the movies where there own story its good towards RE = but if i HAD to pick i would go with 2 because Nemesis looks pretty B.A.

Mine is Degeneration, because it's canon to the storyline and gives a breath of fresh air to see Leon and Claire as a duo again. I hope that they do make the CGI film with Rebecca since it was speculated with in the special features of Degeneration.

If I had to pick my favorite of the live-action films, it would be Apocalypse. The only reasons I enjoy this one, as opposed to the first live-action one and Extinction, is because this one included Jill (my fave!), Nemesis, Carlos, and Nicholai. (Although that guy's personality was nothing like Nicholai's).

I wish that they could've stuck with the script that George Romero originally wrote for the film adaptation of the first RE film. It included Chris, Jill, Wesker, Barry, and Rebecca. It's not 100% exactly like the first RE game to say the least, but I would've prefered it to Paul Anderson's adaptation that we have know. I can post a link to Romero's script by request if anyone would like to read it.

Of the live action movies, Afterlife was the best because of that one Wesker scene. It's the only recognizable RE thing in all of the movies.

But the best one by far of all of them was Degeneration. I wonder how good Damnation will be.

Forgot to mention that I LOVED how Wesker says "You should have brought more." In Afterlife. Best line from all of the movies.

Afterlife is not in the list.. Just watched Extinction. Extinction is a good movie in comparison with first two. Even Umbrella uses Sony Vaio laptops. The movie reminded me terminator 2 movie. Clare with shades on was like Linda Carroll in T2. I think even soundtrack from T2 sounded a bit when carlos oliveira was smoking a cigarette after he turned over on his truck before umbrella facility. Interesting thing that there was the tyrant.

Extinction sucked big time. It's the 2nd worst RE film imo. And that is saying something.
