So the scarface guy in the RE6 trailer, who is he?
people been coming up with theories that he is hunk, alex wesker, both, steve(how the hell someone came up with that?), vector(even though hes non canon) and a new character

Hunk is a good possibility, afterall he did say he was "better off as a mercenary" his face reminds hunk in the re3 epilogue, but the missing part here is the personality, hunks supossed to be a cold and calculist , while scarface seems less caring and more concerned about money, also the voices dont match

Alex Wesker, also a good one, about hs personality i dont know, he is said to be able to learn talents of others just by observing and apart from that and that he disapeared with the secret of immortality research results, scarface moves in the trailer resemble a lot weskers moves in RE5 and scarface is seen multiple times injecting himself with something, that could be some kind of serum just like weskers PG67A/W, but i dont believe alex would be just a random mercenary concerned about money, he seems really young , i mean , too young to be alex but he is a good possibility

about steve, im not going into that because really, i mean he died, being resurrected by wesker may be true but i highly doubt that he would become human again, we've never seem a zombie who has mutated (example krauser, wesker,saddler) going back to his human form, mostly because they didnt survive the fight, but you got my point also he doenst remind a bit of steve scarface , yes chris and leon changed but at least theyre builds (muscular, thin musc) stayed the same so for this forum steve is out the icture 4 now.

Hunk/Alex: its bizarre and it would take a huge twist to the story, but some facts are plausible.
1 Hunk stands for Human Unit Never Killed and alex was not only making a research for immortality but he ran away with the results
2 1996 Hunk was trained at Rockfort Island Military Training Center 2 years before Alex became head of project W
3 1998 Hunk retrieved the G virus sample that could have a major importance in Alex research of immortality
4 Hunk survived mutated Birkin attack, it could be just luck but the possibility of him being a wesker makes his survival chances bigger

so for now this is what i think, fi you find any more flaws at the theories feel free to speak, also sorry for the poor english

Vector is at least semi-canon as ORC is going to have a possibility to go through the game the canon way. Still, that is the first time I've heard of a theory of him being the guy.

Steve did turn back into his human form in the end so if it is Steve resurrected he could be injecting the serum to stay that way. At least in Mercs Krauser, too, was able to revert his hand back to normal.

HUNK is blonde and the scarface seems to have dark/red hair. Unless the developers decide to change that fact it doesn't seem right. You also mentioned the voices.

All in all, I think the Alex theory is the most plausible of current options. The guys at Capcom have also stated that the new guy is related to an existing character.



Here's a crazy theory: What if they made Steve into the next Wesker child and codenamed him Alex.

I think Alex is the guy with glasses who is in the trailer at the start for about a split second, not the scar guy.

Hmmm. you know, people have been talking about Steve coming back for a long time, well before this Third Protagonist seen in the RE6 trailer.

I don't know if that idea is that illogical TBH.

If anything, this new guy makes it more logical.

Vector have been trained by the japanese so its most likely thats his nationality

Steve body's been in wesker hands since he died, there are no proofs he revived , hes body was probrably in one of weskers labs (tricell after umbrella was destroyed idk), or hes body might just have been destroyed after the samples have been colected, anyway even if he revived it would be extremely hard for him to escape those labs without major injuries (not just a scar in the face, i mean loosing an arm or such).Until a good proof is shown that says otherwise STEVE IS DEAD.
