I actually just sort of realized that enemies don't follow you through doors in Revelations, I suppose it's because the 3DS couldn't handle it, but still it felt like "Oh drat, that darn Jill Valentine's use of doors, a mechanic that we can't possibly conceive or understand."

I actually did that in Resident Evil 5 Lost in Nightmares Professional, when the second blob appears, after saving Jill from the falling ceiling trap, I hid in the room where I just saved Jill thinking "Hah! I sure did outwit that monster didn't I Jill?" in which she replied "Get the fuck out, he just opened the door!"

I just thought that was the thing that made zombies scary, even though they're slow they will always be following you. Unless you put a door between you and it! See it takes the fear away if that's all you have to do is enter another room, and that's it, the threat is over. But still Resident Evil 5 is guilty of this. Don't want to fight the executioner? Go up some stairs. That guy has no idea how to use those.
