i think its pretty obvious, from the trailer what capcom will be doing with RE6

we will have 3 main protagonist of course

new unknown guy with awsome melee abilities (i think its alex wesker)

Leon's gameplay seems, evident from the trailer, will be the traditional surival horror gameplay from re4 and the old RE... it will be based, like i said surival horror, slow, "pop at you" for the traditional RE fans

Chris gameplay is more action oreinated, GUNS BLAZING.. this is for the RE5 fans.. it focus on more intense action..

the 3rd guy, IDK, like i said earlier i think its Alex Wesker, but anyways its a all new gameplay, for the people that always wanted to maybe play as the stylish wesker with his abilities.... IDK how that will turn out

capcom knows what there doing, and this is pretty smart...

hopefully each individual campaign has pretty good length...

I'm definately against too many changes from the traditional though. I hope the controls are still RE-like.

I mean in RE5 it was fine. I wanna hold R to aim and press a face button to shoot. What's so wrong with that?

Not L to aim CoD style, and R to shoot. We certainly don't need hip-fire in RE. We should always have to aim before shooting. Whether we're allowed to move around, or slide on our backs all cool-like, aiming is another little thing that RE has always utilized and hasn't changed yet.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I'm really hoping for a huge game.

Maybe the new guy's gameplay has both?

Actually, now that I think about it, his gameplay is propably something like Uncharted or Devil May Cry.


On a side note, I hear this game might also take place in London.

i thought the trailer was epic. Having the classic RC zombies back, more advanced bows. Not too stoked for the urburos but Resident evil 5 was kinda fun. The mystery guy seems to be an important character because the girl says "im not gonna let anything happen to you, the world needs you." and he says "not me,just my blood. Well the world can have it if someone ponys up the dough" Sounds like his blood could hold the secrets to the cure?

The new character definitely had movements similar to Wesker and Capcom confirmed that the he's "related to another well-known RE character already introduced". As for all the people thinking the blonde girl is Ashley, why would she be with this guy anyway? Wouldn't it make more sense if she was with Leon again since her father had to be neutralized? I'm definitely gonna assume it's Sherry if anything.
