It's obvious that the spec ops guys share the same classes as the uss team. However, i'm having trouble determining how these classes are distributed in heroes mode.

Judging from the video I think it's...
Hunk=Vector
Jill=Lupo
Claire=Four Eyes
Carlos=Bertha

now this is where things get tricky

Ada has great melee but doesn't have the invisibility like vector/Willow
Leon is said to have great survival skills. What class does that fall into?
NicholaI has mines(beltway) but he also has a sniper rifle.
I have no idea where to put Lone Wolf. Who the heck is this guy anyway?

I'm guessing the heroes classes are going to be hybrids of the originals.

What say you?

I guess the heroes mode is just about blasting the shit out of everything without any specified classes. You said hybrid classes, that sounds about right.

Lone Wolf is the helicopter pilot who rescued HUNK from Raccoon.


Btw. How would Carlos be a medic and Claire the chemistry expert?

In the Heroes Mode trailer, Claire is seen throwing pheromone grenades.

Carlos description states that he is willing to risk his life to save his teammates so I'm guessing that falls under medic.

The trailer also says to "use their unique abilities to eliminate the other team" so I'm assuming they fall somewhere into the game's class system.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards mixed abilities as well. I like that more then just placing them into the default classes However, I think that Jill and Hunk are going to fall directly under Vector and Lupo's classes. The rest doesn't seem that clear cut.

The trailer also shows Ada shooting herself with the super solider serum that Bertha uses so she might be a hybrid medic.

The weapon load out seem different as well. I remember one of the developers saying each character has a default load out but can be broaden by using XP. Good idea, IMO.

Overall, I like what Slant Six is doing so far. This game seems really thought out. Hopefully, this game does welll and makes up for their blunder with socom confrontation.
