| Hey guys just wanted to start a thread to discuss about the code veronica HD port. I just picked it up a few days ago and I'm really enjoying the graphics, IMO this is the way this game should have been made. The lighting is more atmospheric and darker (especially outdoors) They have done slight touch ups for the charcters animation (yes I am talking about claire's ass swaying more when she runs ) I also noticed the water in the game looks really fantastic, like the part when your need to go into the submarine. Another good thing they have set up in the game is leaderboards, this is good because you can battle for the top spot in the world so you can have your best run showcased online. Anyway guys what is your opinion on it ? is fail or win ? also what would you have done to make it better ? |

| My only complaint with the game is that it's a bit... murky. Also, I don't like how they nerfed the Grenade Launcher's firing speed from RE2 & 3. |

lol Not yet, but you know Capcom, they will just bring it out in between other projects to get more income. The copy just now is like £14.99 on live marketplace, I thought it was an arcade title to start with but it seemed not. @theKnife. Yeah there sometimes a bit too much shadow mapping in some parts and you cant see hidden items or things like the manhole into the sewer (when your chris on rockfort) Also I noticed as well Capcom messed up and made the areas a little more smaller, (thats why everyone keeps having a problem with dodging the tyrant fight on the plane. I dont mind about the grenade launcher, I still manage to use it fine Except from these hick-ups (lazy Capcom, tut tut ! ) the game looks great and is a joy to revisit in HD this time around. |

| I was also wondering about the retail version. Because I want it. I always love to have something I can put on my shelf for the collection. Besides, I'd rather have the game on a disc than a hard drive. _________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

To true maybe the old titles need this revamp, so it makes the older titles playable for this generation because I persoanlly love older graphics people who were brought up with the 360 and ps3 will deem the game as unplayable due to the graphics. Also Im just hoping that they bring out a RE2 and RE3 HD next @Spike - Yeah and they will probably give him a handbag to put his inventory in |

They would look shit in HD. Tidying up graphics past their prime wouldn't work. They need full remakes._________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

I never actually took that into account. Maybe thats why chose CV and not 3 or 4 Also they have never touched the older games for years, I wonder if they are slowly making remakes or are planning on making them. I will still stand optimistic about a RE2 remake. |
