Im doing a replay of all resi games have played
Re4
Cvx
3
2
Remake( wont play 1 whats the point LOL )

Im still in aw of these two titles though because there the ones i grew up with ill admit controls are clunky i havet played in soo long but after an hour or so im just fine
Of course there dated for todays crowd but the amount of detail in the city is still amazing to me and the atmosphere is spot on aswell as the Music, effects

Love just looking at the prerendered backgrounds and catching stuff but they really perfected this in the remake and zero wow imo there the best looking resi games STILL!!
I am amazed just how short re2 is though once your outta that station its practialy done aint it lol
The scares still got me ill admit i did have my surround sound very high lol

I guess the whole PS1 raccoon city era is probly my favorite because it reminds me of days when me and my friends would be shitting ourselves Lol

I hear ya. Whenever I play RE2 and 3 I sometimes think that they were ahead of their time a bit. Like you said, all the detail in the prerendered backgrounds was just phenominal for a PS1 game. Call me crazy, but I prefer the original RE1 over the REmake. I love both of them, but the original just holds quite a few memories for me.

I'll second that. I played the crap out of it back in the day. It really has the best replay system for a game of its time. You have scenario a which plays a little different with each character and has their own ending. Then you have scenario b which also plays different for each character and has their own ending. SDo you have to play the game a total of 4 times to get the whole experience. Also the is 4th survivor and tofu to add even more replay value.

The REmake didn't really have any BGMs, which is something I do prefer about the original.

Music makes it so much more memorable. I wished they had remade certain tracks...but oh well, the REmake is still awesome.

I've replayed RE2 and 3 today and I didn't really enjoy 2. It used to be my favorite, but after replaying it since six years, I didn't like it that much anymore. It's still a great game though. Maybe I just should've left my memories alone. It's a shame. 3 however, I completely loved to play again, just like zero, cvx and remake. Strange.
