i have recently played Resident evil orc at Gamefest uk. gotta say thats it looks and plays alot better than i thought it would. the characters seem very interesting as well.

quite literally played the first ten minutes of the game. chasing leon kennedy through raccoon city!

if Remember correctly, it took me a few seconds to get to grip with them. with it being a preview it was quite buggy also. (if i remember correctly)walk with analogue, run with analogue and square. throw grenade with Rb. hold down right trigger and x to shoot. there is melee attacks aswell if you are close enough. i played as vector. this is all subject to change i imagine. right analogue is camera movements it think

yes i have a 3ds. i also played a new revelations demo that was better the one given with RE mercenaries.

Did things like switching weapons have a better flow then in re5? Also how did chasing Leon around the city work? In re2 you were only in the city for like the first 10 minutes and since you played the first 10 minutes did you follow the same path to the police station he did?

the part of the revelations demo i played, looked like i was in a mansion i was running down corridors and in to a big dining room with a massive stair case.

you will have seen the first bit where leon runs off on a trailer. think vector says something like 'kill the cop"
no didnt get to the police station. they're were four of us playing so some were moving slower than others. at some points you cant move on till you have killed everything in that room. for example we were stuck in garage with lots and lots lickers coming from the ceiling vents. also the zombies will run at you sometimes. i didnt change weapons during the game. if i remember correctly i chose between a shotgun and machine gun when i chose vector.

no you dont follow the same path as re2. we literally ran down a street in to a metal garage through more streets, then on a roof. i atleast expected to go through the kendo gun shop. although that may be later on. its just a beta.

they have big ammo boxes where everyone loads up from.

How often did you see Leon while playing?

i saw him twice! you see the cut scene a little differently from the original re2 ( where the van is coming towards leon and claire and they jump out either side. vector spots him and says kill the cop, leon runs off down a street. so you head in that direction. then you see him go through a door. then the metal shutter goes down and you chase him in there. didnt see him after that. the beta kept crashing so you will most definitely see him again.

Im super excited to play this still.

i guess i might be most excited to fight a tyrant again.

also, what you described of the controls sounds pretty acceptable to me.

it almost seems like itll play like Mercs 3d, which is a very good thing.

btw, did you have melee attacks?

Did Vector say anything about Claire or was his team just focused on Leon?
