| The very first time I played CVX and got to the tyrant boss right on the plane I ran out of ammo and couldn't beat him just using the knife. When I played the game again a few years ago I just managed to have enoguh ammo to beat him that time. Does anyone have any advice so I won't run out of ammo? I always try to save as much ammo as I can but is there a certain type of ammo I should keep saving or something? |

| I always saved up plenty of different ammunition for the grenade launcher. I also had some explosive bolts for the bowgun.

| Ok so save the stuff like gernade rounds, arrows, and magnum bullets while using hand gun ammo and shot gun shells first? As for health how much should I have? 3 aid sprays? I don't remember how much I had last time and I dont know where my ps2 is so I cant go look. |

| I remember someone here stating that you could kill it with a knife since it only attacks with one arm, though I haven't tried that. For my own part, I just save up as much heavy ammo as a I can and then let loose. |

That's immediately what I had thought of.
Anyway, yes, save those weapons with some firepower, but as for health, there isn't a number that I can give you, just save as much as possible. You can never have too much.

| I think from memory the BOW Gas Rounds are the most effective against him. The 3 or 4 rounds that you get are the only ones in the game and were meant to be specifically used on the tyrant.
Hopefully my memory is serving me correctly on this one! |

| I actually beat him about an hour or two ago. I just used the nade launcher. I had the 4 BOW gas rounds, 6 flames, and a few of the regular then launched him off with the catapult of fun |

| So basically those BOW and flame rounds you find in the begining of the game save for the tyrant fight and just use some arrows or some other powerful weapon? Also to better conserve ammo what should I use against non zombies like hunters and those things that stretch their arms? |

| Save basically any grenade launcher ammo. Don't waste grenade launcher rounds on zombies. And for the bandersnatches (the long stretchy arm things) It's kinda tough to dodge them, but if you can't dodge them I just used the bowgun. Keep your distance and just take a couple steps back when you get the chance. They're very slow making it easy to gain a bit of distance |
