| I don't understand. I find that a lot of people don't like his voice for Wesker. Personally I think that it was just a slight variation on the CV voice. I felt that he added more of a sly and deviousness to his voice, which fits his character. |

| Yeah I felt the same way about it, he didn't do that bad of a job doing his voice in my opinion. |

| I thought he did a good job but I prefer the voice from 4. I think a lot of hate simply comes from the fact that capcom cliched wesker in 5 and I get the feeling that got tied to Douglases performance. |

| The CVX voice actor is the best hands down. He did RE0 and RE4 too. |

| Richard Waugh does his voice in CV, RE0, and RE4. I liked D.C. Douglas but Richard's voice fitted Wesker's character a lot more to me. |

| I like Douglas. He played Wesker's voice very well and it definitely suited the character. It gives Wesker a bit more character than Waugh seemed to give him. Don't get me wrong. I like both actors, but I think I like Douglas better. |

he added more of the wrong kind of personality. when it was waugh, he had this cool, and almost scary, real voice.
dc douglas was climbing uphill from day 1, simbly because he was replacing an already established character.
the fact that his personality, mannerisms and the things he said as well as his style all changed, douglas' acting just sounds fake and ingenuine.
just sounds stupid. im glad that it was metioned that a lot of people dont like douglas as wesker, not a lot of people just dont like him.

| Even just having Douglas' voice for Wesker in Mercs, as in hearing him when I jump down to a lower area, or get attacked(while it's a little better hearing him in agony), or whatever, really just makes me enjoy playing as him even less.
Obviously I don't care for him, but yeah....for me it really makes the series as a whole, far less enjoyable.
That being because an important character with strong ties to the roots, being ruined, plays a big role overall. | I get what you're saying Spike. Wesker's voice seemed less dark in RE5. His voice and personality were both more loose than they were in all the other games. I don't really know how to explain it, but he looked more devious in 0, 1, CV and 4 |

| Him being less dark and devious in RE5 is just ridiculous. He was off the chain evil in 5. And less stable as well. I liked Douglas' voice acting fine, it was just a few times when he spoke a bit weirdly that I didn't like. To me, Waugh didn't make Wesker stand out. At all.
