It's not that I don't like people with great in-ring skills. Some of my favourite matches have included the likes of Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit (gulp! had to say it), Kurt Angle etc.
I can appreciate both the entertainers and great wrestlers. The entertainment side is about the only thing that keeps me watching WWE these days. If I want to see two guys flat out wrestle each other I'd watch youtube, ROH or WWE/TNA PPV's.
I'm pretty sure you're not gonna like me saying it lol but In all reality Cena is just Hogan v2.0. If Hogan can reach legend status on 2 moves and a wave of popularity than so can Cena in my book. |

Yep. I spent yesterday evening and night until around 10:00 playing it and, in my veteran opinion, the game is everything it was cracked up to be. It still has the SvR feel, but it plays completely differently. Matches are indeed significantly more challenging (out of every four, I lost two... and I even lost to Michael Cole as freaking Brock Lesnar!  ) and commentary is vastly improved from last year (it's fun to hear Cole and King break the fourth wall occasionally by commenting on how well made the in-game models are XD). I haven't yet dove into Universe yet, but I'll let you know about that when I do. The controls are way different (unnecessarily different, IMO) and a bit awkward, though, but with time I'm sure I and others will get used to them.

WWE '12 is significantly better than SvR in previous years. I highly recommend you at least give it a rental before passing judgment on it. |

Ooohh....im a bit more anxious to play it now. somebody was telling me that you no longer use the analogue for grapples.
btw, i consider myself a veteran of the smackdown series too. i own every one from smackdown to 2011.
and i can whup some candy ass on each of them. i personally like to think i wont get beat, but if you really got beat by cole, as lesnar, im pretty excited to see some in-ring action.
again, ill probably just end up using caw versions of who i really want to play as, and i hate that, od rather use legit versions any day of the week.
i also have tons of other wrestling games, legends, DoR, and tna.
i wonder if this has any things borrowed from that game.

Just to pick a downed superstar/diva up. Grapple attacks have been moved to the X button (and everything that the X button previously did has been moved to the L1 button).
To move a superstar/diva around, you have to hold L1+R1 in conjunction with the left analogue stick.
Run is now L2 instead of L1.
Everything else is the same as it was in 2011, I think.
But an annoying issue with Universe for a lot of people (me included) is that you can't vacate titles. Once you unlock all the unlockable championships, somebody has to hold one. So what this means is that you're going to have 3 different tag team championships, 2 IC championships, 2 women' champions, 2 ECW championships, umpteen WWE championships... It's ruining Universe for some. |

| well my uncle told me gameinformers rating... 5/10. I dont know what to say I guess the game is really gonna suck. I guess I'm dissapointed, I thought they could of done better than that. so still that means that not even the fans like it. I'm not even gonna bother with it. I'm probally gonna stay off the topic from now on if you really feel you need to tell me something just PM me. |
