So ive been working on a script and for now im just doing it for fun, which i will be creating links for people to see and read if they like. Im basically trying to build a fan base and if it grabs enough attention i might consider handing it, who? I dont know yet.

So its an original based off the games, since the events in the games would be impossible to make into a tv series, unless your making a two season episode. So im working on keeping the original idea and the feel the games give us, unlike the Resident Evil movie series(Which is enjoyable to watch in its own creation kind of way.)

So far im cutting the mansion incident out, which i thought long and hard about doing.(A lot of fans said it would be too cliche' to include the mansion since everyone does this when trying to create a RE script.)So im trying to say, "I wanna know what fans want."

And i understand that fans get tired of seeing Leon, Chris, Jill, and Albert always staring in the games, which is true and i get tired of seeing them too but i do love these guys and they will be main characters in my series but they will definitely be sharing the spotlight with others.

Heres some things i'm going to share with you guys:

Setting-Will take place in Raccoon City at the beginnig, Im placeing it in Pennslyvania(Don't know if i spelt it right, sorry :p)
The time zone will start around 2002 i was thinking, my reason for this is to keep the world up to date a little and keep the characters young and fresh, plus i plan to do a pretty huge time skip(which im keeping secret about.)

Plot-In Raccoon City an infectious virus is released and slowly it turns the civilians into canniable monsters.

So thats it for now im still heavily planning this so please, feel free to tell me things you guys will not like to see and love to see...Every Writer likes to hear options to reach out to its fan base.

I like the sound of it. A series would be a nice change. Personally I would like to see more background info on the characters shown on TV or film.

I have just started writing myself. Noting special just abit of fun. Might post on here myself in the future.

Still your story draft sound like a new perspective on RE events so IMO its all good.

No thanks. If you don't stick with the true RE story, then it isn't RE. And how is having the Spencer Mansion cliche? It has really only been shown in one game (two if you count REmake). The shitty movies just had a big house. Nothing about it was like the mansion. And to be honest, it kind of puts me off that you would throw out the mansion incident, my personal favorite part of the series. So yeah, count me in as no.

Not a bad idea at all, i would love to see it if you pull it off, will it start as a youtube series? thats probably the best place to start.

You could start off with Chris, Jill and Barry E.T.C, being trained by Wesbert for the RPD thingy.
Chris and Jill together is cliché, in my opinion. But you COULD build it up a little, for the fangirls.
Claire in School/College sounds like a good idea. Maybe she could work with Cindy at that bar.

What are you doing for Jill's backstory? Are you going with Capcom's backstory or "borrowing" the former cat burglar thing from SD Perry's books? If the former, Jill should be helping Wesker to train the others since she's a former Delta shooter and already has the best training in the world.

If you want to make this into an actual TV series you should also contact Capcom.

So... Albert will be controlling the RPD? Not Irons? Also, if you want to include Outbreak characters you should include them all. If not everyone in main/recurring roles, them give them at least cameos. Rebecca and the Birkin family should be added too. Just to have the Raccoon cast, you know.

Those were my ideas but still, I'd rather see a spinoff set in Raccoon with original cast or just the Outbreak cast. With cameos of classic characters, of course.

I'm just going to see where you go with this.



Btw. What is that Wong thing at the end of Billy's name?

You've defiantly got something to build on. I like the sound of the flash backs etc, would be nice to see more chemistry between characters, more weapon and tactic specialisation and more background info on the viruses and BOW's.
