The retail version was only released in Japan. There's no word of it being released as such elsewhere.

I can't imagine playing a light gun game with a regular controller.
That actually sounds near impossible. To effectively play one of those games like that? Is playing it with a controller really an option?  |

It could but only in Japan for some reason.

| But the Chronicles games seem too hard to play with a regular controller. In Survivor the enemies are a lot slower and you can move around.

Survivor had ok controls to me but yeah, they're pretty horrible in S2. It wouldn't be as bad if you didn't have to turn using the L1 and R1 buttons.
