What Is This!?

It's a new member!

Hello Resident Evil / Biohazard fans. Thought I'd stop in and register here simply because I cant get enough Resident Evil. My story is like that of many. I watched and tried to play RE with my dad when I was a child and was scared by those God foresaken zombies. But now I'm older and I'm blasting them away as revenge! I am truely a diehard Resident Evil fan despite my first independent game being RE4. RE4 was actually my gateway back into playing the older ones and now I can honestly say that I like the older ones better. I even started collecting RE stuff. My collection is kinda small at the moment, but it is certainly growing. I have the disadvantage of being a late collector, so a lot of the figures that used to be about $15 are now like $40 and certain awesome figures are now quite the rarity Sad

Here are some of my RE specs

Favorite Game: RE1, REmake
Favorite Males: Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield, Barry Burton
Favorite Females: Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine
Favorite Enemy: Hunter (RE1)
Favorite Boss: Nemesis, Tyrant T-002

Least Favorite Game: Dead Aim (I still like it, but it was way too short)
Least Favorite Males: Steve Burnside, Ramon Salazar, Ricardo Irving
Least Favorite Females: Ashley Graham... enough said
Least Favorite Enemy: JJ (gattling gun just ticks me off)
Least Favorite Boss: Uroboros

Irving reminds me of Salazar. The boss fight anyway. The hole "shoot it until it's mouth opens up and reveals that he is inside and mutated, almost FUBAR" thing. They were both interesting characters. I don't hate either of them. Just kinda dislike. Steve on the other hand, I hate.

REmake is also my favorite.

The boss fight was definitely similar. I just love Irving because I think he has the best voice actor the series has ever seen and because I love crazy eccentric characters. One of the staples of the series to me, is crazy eccentric characters. Just look at Sergei. He was nuts.

Yeah Irving DID have an amazing voice actor. Sergei kinda reminded me of a guy you'd see in Metal Gear Solid or something. His appearance was just completely different than the rest of the RE franchise lol

It was a horribly acted line, but that doesn't mean his character was bad. It was the voice actor's fault.

I'm sure he has a deeper voice in the Japanese version, and if he does i bet in Japan people thought he was a bad arse. (and he is in my books)

And I don't like Steve because his voice is annoying (except in DC) and he's just an idiot. The thing that REALLY did it for me was "Ooh look! Claire's ass!" *runs bulldozer into pipes carrying poisonous gas*
