| Am I the only that is pissed off about RE revelations introducing even MORE characters to the franchise? I mean, I think it already has enough people to work with.. |

| Nope. I love new characters. I'd also like to see some of the less seen characters to come back. Besides, BSAA is a huge international group. Because until RE4 there were lots of characters to work with quite all right.
RE4 introduced Ashley, Krauser, Saddler, Salazar, etc
Degeneration introduced Angela, Curtis Miller, etc
RE5 intriduced Sheva, Josh, Irving, Excella, etc.
With the exception of Irving, most of the other characters were in almost everyone's top 5 worst characters, so the new characters aren't doing so well lately
If you check the top 5 of the best characters post, we all made a comment about how one of the old characters should return to a RE game

| At first yeah I was a bit bummed, but I think it would good to see some fresh faces in the game,
As long as they dont take the characters to far to suit the way RE is going now.
I dont want over the top action hero "arnold" type characters but more like normal special force type charcters with a
good background for them.
I generaly like new characters coming into game series, gives us something new instead of repetitive faces *cough * Leon *Cough*
I would however like the less featured characters from the originals getting cast's or there storyline told in the new games
though.
Also get god damn sherry back in the series ! It bugs me not knowing where the hell or what she's been doing for the past 13
years or if she is even still amonst the living. |

| Yeah a lot of new characters in the Resident Evil franchise sort of suck but honestly, even though you might hate Ashley with a passion you just can't have Resident Evil 4 without her. I think I can do without Sheva though, Berry was supposed to be your original partner anyway... But honestly, you just can't have an entire cast of old Resident Evil characters. If it was, that would be wildly unrealistic. |

| Seriously, just imagine how awesome it would have been if Rebecca was Chris' partner in RE5 instead if Sheva. I like Sheva and all, but I think I think it would have been amazing if Rebecca was there instead. I can already picture her in some scenes.
This idea really makes me happy. I just wish it was what happened. Rebecca is easily my favorite of the female protagonists. |

Yeah and they were partners throughout the whole course of the first game. I think it would have been more satisfying to see Rebecca fight Wesker alongside Chris. |

thats true i guess but Chris needed to partner up with someone working for the BSAA of Africa, unless Rebecca got a job at the BSAA HQ in Africa it would be weird. Co-op in RE5 works a treat doesn't it? |
