So I'm currently working on building my own custom PC. The total is going to be around $1,100 which actually isn't too bad at all. I probably knocked about $1,000 off the price by shopping around and building it myself. Here is the core system.

Processor: Intel Core i7 960. 3.2Ghz and quad core.

Motherboard: ASUS P6T.

RAM: Probably Corsair 4 Gig DDR3.

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950.

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1Tb - 7200 rpm.

DVD Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST 24X Internal DVD Burner

Power Supply: Corsair TX750W 750-Watt

Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Size (Comes with 3 233mm fans.)

Are you using this for gaming or what?

Yep gaming. I'm changing the motherboard though. I'm getting one that will support USB 3.0.
