| Okay, so I've never thought this before, but it just occurred to me ... Resident Evil 5's storyline is SHIT!!
I love the game, don't get me wrong. However, never have I seen such incompetence with the storyline. In RE4, the ending was fitting ... they didn't need to "destroy" the idea of Las Plagas, because there would be an outbreak in the next came ... continuity etc.
But, in RE5, it pretty much just focused on Wesker, and then at the end of it all, there were still thousands of Plagas infected citizens wandering around Sub_Saharan Africa?
This really annoys me. If they are planning on "turning the series around" then they should have dealt with Las Plagas and had a fitting ending, dealing with how to contain the spread of the parasite. Or is that too much common sense??
Unless when they turn the series around, Capcom still manage to even do THAT wrong ... |

| That's indeed a big plothole, but I wouldn't say the storyline of RE5 was shit. |

| everyone says that, there's nothing wrong with it. Every story has their endings, we can't expect chris and wesker still fighting in the age of 70+.
we have to move on, move on the same way we did when raccoon city was destroyed, and when umbrella has fallen |

I wasn't expecting them to fight until they're 70+.
If you read carefully, I was talking about the fact that the Plagas were still infecting thousands, and the ending was just Wesker dying, when they could (possibly should) have found a way to show us how the Plagas were gotten rid of, as the RE6 will be an overhaul and probably will not feature Plagas, so it would be nice to know if they purged the parasites. If not, then the coninuity is all wrong, as we have a HUGE plothole, where there are thousands of Plagas one minute, then the next game just starts anew with a whole new BOW threat.
At least when they ended the T-Virus threat, the story actually explained "Umbrella collapsed, T-Virus pretty much not a threat anymore." But with Plagas, it's like there are thousands one minute, then none the next. The continuity is terrible (I have said that word a bit too much for my own liking).
It's would be like ending the first Harry Potter film with Harry saying "i'm going to kill Voldemort" and then releasing the next six films with Voldemort never making an appearance. |

| sorry i'm really tired and becoming an idiot again .. so yeah, i thought about that too, there's still are alot of infectees left in africa, even the boat, there are still majini's in there..
there was no word about that, but i think it was reported to HQ after the ending scene in RE5, the bsaa should have done something about that
same thing with sherry, removed in the weskers report 2 and was never heard of ever again |

But then, the only thing that she had to do with the games was that her parents worked for Umbrella and died, so if they included her then it would have to be as a protagonist, as she would have to have a "I am going to help in the fight against BOWs as my father and mother were killed because of them."
But, even then, this has already been done with Leon and Chris (Chris with the BSAA). She couldn't really be used as a vengeful character, because everyone that she could have possibly wanted revenge against is dead: Umbrella, Spencer, Wesker etc. so there would be no use for her I feel :'( |

| Kijuju was quarantined. They couldn't get out, so there was no need for you to kill them all throughout the game. When the epidemic is confined to a single area, it's much more easily dealt with either by fire bombing the quarantine zone or by pacifying it with military ground forces. |

I suppose that is logical. Then again, they've never really needed a guide in a game before (RE4 Leon had guides but eventually made his way through the game with that wifey on the phone thingy). But yeah, the racist thing makes sense. |

| Okay, a few things. GL already made a point about the quarantine stuff so I don't need to go through that.
RE6 isn't going to be THAT big of an overhaul, read the page I've linked in my sig. That one about the reboot thing.
Now onto Sherry's part: she'd be important in the story is because she had the G-Antibody.
Btw. Why wouldn't Chris have needed a guide?
