Now that that has been answered (although I'm as stumped as GL that it needed to be) do you know what U.B.C.S. or U.S.S stand for?

Special Tactics And Rescue Squad.It says that in the RE1 game manual on the front page.

i havnt played the older games in fact the oldest one ive played RECV. no i dont know what any of this stuff stands for

U.B.C.S. stands for Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service

U.S.S. stands for Umbrella Security Service. Sometimes they use the U.S.F. which means Umbrella Security Forces.



If you're gonna stick with RE you'll stumble upon these groups sooner or later.

You should definitely play RE1 through RE3 and throw in Zero for good measure. STARS is almost synonymous with Resident Evil. Although they were only featured in a few of the games. Great organization though.

I lol'd hard at the title of this thread. You might wanna play through the older games because they have a lot to do with the plot of CVX (which is the oldest one you've claimed to play).

You can; play the older games or read the History of Resident Evil in RE5.
