I didn't mean it like that, I think enrage was a poor choice of word for that occasion
I just thought that even though he got it wrong and tried to arguie the point by mention the movie
that it would get people going crazy, since half of the community here can't stand the movies especially Nite.
Also I'm one of the haters of the films and dont like when people
making comparisons of the game with the film first because I think the films are garbage and games came first

Here is a few reason's;
1.Resident evil 2 was one of the best titles in the series, infact 1 to 3 was so resident evil series
was a big part of most of our childhoods and holds much nostalgia.

2.All characters in RE are amazing and we also want to hear more about characters past and hear there side to the story
because most of us are huge fans and want to know info that we dont know already.

3.she was a main character in RE2 and is also the daughter of william birken
the head researcher behind the T and G virus.
is that not enough to make here an important character ?!

4. Everyone likes to see a return of a character and also If they dont die in a game that
means somwhere out there she is living and doing something in the RE world
and we want to find out what she has been doing for the past 13 years because by now she will be a adult
(25 to be exact) , So we are just wanting the series to advance and bring in new faces that havn't been overused
(like leon) and see there side to the story

So that proves your statment wrong because the matter of the fact is there is "something big there",
