Anyway, that's one of the USS characters in RE Operation Raccoon City(ORC).

I just watched the trailer, the latest one, showing a Tyrant(No discrimination from this one apparently), weird Russian names for Umbrella members, some cool locations. I noticed RPD, obviously. The gas station from RE3 was called Stagla right? That's the one in ORC, so that's cool. It was really flashy, the trailer, and I only watched it once, so I didn't pick out every locale, but it looks really cool.

Gameplay wise, it's definately not like RE. It almost looks like a CoD kind of game, if it weren't so RE at the same time. Maybe even SOCOM, as those are the guys making it. Not a SOCOM team, but the people that make those games are making ORC.

It still looks like a good time, though I don't really think we need invisibility in RE....especially if it's going back to 98'....just a little too MGS.

All in all it looks like it's going to be more good than bad, but I still hope it doesn't deviate too much. I don't know if Capcom has been listening to feedback at all....for some reason, with each game, they seem to think we want more and more changes, in a more CoD, SOCOM, HALO, Gears, kind of direction....somebody needs to smack those guys upside the head, because no matter how many times any of us rant, they keep on making the changes.

Maybe I should drop RE, become a mainstream FPS fan, play all the CoD and Gears games, then make an opinion about what I want from RE, then maybe they'd listen to me....

So anyway, what did you guys think? About the gameplay, characters, enemies, locations, etc.

I've discussed the game so much already but I think this will be good times. Not canon, obviously, unless we get multiple endings. The characters are nice but they look too different from the other USS members. Raccoon looks nice and the gameplay is surely different. There has also been talk that this game will have new BOWs. As for the invisibility, who knows, maybe some Umbrella researchers came up with technology far advanced to 98.

I hope HUNK will make a cameo. I mean, he has to, this is a game about the USS!!! Waiting for other characters making cameos too, like Jill and Brad.

Hahahahaha. An evil smile at that. I think Mass deserves the credit for posting that trailer. Anyway, these USS members seem more specialized than anyone on HUNK's team. That's why I hope this is not canon at all. Invisibility? Please.

The locations look very good from what I have seen.

I'm sure typewriters are out. It looks to me like it's going to be set up like L4D. Linear with a bit of freedom for which path you take. I'd say we have chapters too. Otherwise, multiplayer wouldn't really work too well.

It is confirmed that you can use a zombie shield. lol Probably not the best idea.

I'm pretty sure it's a single player game first, but you can go online if you want. Not only online.
