On the subject of my banning (and this is just from my perspective, mind you), I honestly feel I was banned because I was at least somewhat popular when I left and upon learning that I had come into control of my own forum, Down possibly became worried that my leaving might cause some of his member base to seek me out and possibly leave REF as well. As such, banning me, I'm guessing, made it look on the outside as if I'd done something wrong, thereby preventing my "legend" from inspiring any new members who might be intrigued by me from my posting history into seeking me out.
But as I said, that's just how I perceive it with the evidence I have on hand. If that isn't the case, I'm more than willing to have a civil discussion with Down as to the true circumstances behind it if he so chooses. |
