For anyone unfamiliar with the title, it's the adaptation of the awesome MK trailer pitch that appeared on the web some time ago:

This Raiden episode is the best one yet, but the Johnny Cage episode is almost equally good. The endings in both episodes were the best.

Oh snap! Quan Chi ftw. Is that canon? That Chi actually killed Scorpion under the guise of Bi Han? Also, my new favorite part of this series is when Han throws his ice and Hanzo slides under it for a spear win. Epic.

This series is supposedly a reimagining of the original storyline but yeah, that actually happened in the real canon. I'm not completely sure if it was Chi himself disguised as Zero but he was behind it all.

At first I was worried that this more realistic re-imagining business was no good. I thought they were going to make all the powers the characters had into some realistic thing. Like instead of Liu Kang shooting fireballs they would have him throw bombs or something. But whoever is doing all this has proven to me that they are capable of making this series great. They really seem to know their shit. I'm impressed.

This sure is well done. I still liked the idea of Scorpion in the original trailer better but we can't have it all Very Happy

Two more episodes to go, then it's waiting for the second season.
