Well when a character is put into an awesomely fun game to play, you start to like him.  Plus RE4 introduced a lot people to the series and got them interested enough to play the other games. It was easy and accessible enough for those unfamiliar with the genre to get into it. |

You're both right. Still, it's a really crappy reason for Anderson to include him in the sequel. It's like if Capcom brought back Alber Wesker and Spencer just because they are popular. OR something like including Alice in the games just because the movies are popular. I swear, when that happens I stop playing these games and sell my collection. Leon is one of my favorite characters too and I would LOVE to see him in another movie, just not the live action ones. They brought my absolute favorite character, Carlos, to the movies and completely ruined him there. Leon does a good job being in Degeneration and Damnation, no need to shove his ass EVERYWHERE.

| Leon is overused. After his succes in RE4 he has been in almost all following games. I'm very very disappointed if they put him as the main character in RE6. |

| My mistake. I said games but I also meant movies. RE4 - DSC - Degeneration - Damnation - Retribution in a pretty short time is too much.

| I do care. I think other characters (like Rebecca, Claire, maybe even Barry etc.) should be in the spotlight now. RE isn't only about Leon. He had his time, just like Chris and Jill. |

| I say "probably" because there's a possibility that it was to give his wife a movie to be in. Make some money you know? Was she ever a popular actress before those?
I think the disease he has is Hollywood-itus. He might also have a strong case of Onlywatchescutscenes-itus as well. |
