She did horrible as Jill, but was the acting that bad anyway?

Yeah, Alice had just killed a bunch of zombies that were coming out of the grave for some reason...which makes perfect sense, I mean people who are dead and burried have just as much right to be a zombie.

if it is not a airborne virus and it is spread by bites, scratches or injections then why the hell would a already dead person come back to life ? was there some messed up infected maggot or worm that bit them I mean WTF lol
the movies are a true joke in my eyes to be honest the Degeneration was the only movie that stayed true the RE and at least kept it good to watch and really good storyline as well

I think everyone would agree that CG is the way to go, as far as canon RE films.

If they continue to make the live action ones though, I don't really think I will mind. It isn't going to affect our games at all, they aren't made by Capcom so it isn't taking time away from game development, as if they didn't have enough people for that anyway.

Oh, and I was being sarcastic, the people that are dead and burried, and are probably in a coffin at that, shouldn't be coming out of the grave...it just doesn't make any sense.

@Spike: Yes. It is because of her acting abilities. Like...she portrayed what she wanted to portray well. But that is not truly acting. She either does not know how to get into a character (shitty acting) or she just never bothered to research her character (shitty acting and shitty person all around.) So yeah. She's crap.

If you listen to her commentary on Apocolypse, she talks a lot about the character's feeling and emotions and all. She did put a lot of thought into it.

That's the thing though, as an actress, that's your job, that's all. You act. I mean it doesn't seem like a real demanding job, at least not in too many ways.

If she is an actress, whether it's because she has a passion for acting, or just wants to be famous, whatever the reason, that's her one job, all of her effort should go into that.

For it to be half assed, or not researched is really kind of insulting.

What did she say about the character's feelings? Was she talking about Jill from the games? Or the crappy movie Jill? If she talks about Jill from the games, and even if she seems to know about Jill, then why did she not portray her correctly? I understand how a lot of it was the writing. But it was her who made Jill into some kind of she-woman. Jill is not as manly and gruff as Guillory portrayed. Her fault. Same goes for Claire. Even the guy who played Chris made him seem uninspired. I've seen a million different actors/actresses portray characters I love and do it very well. These movies are packed with actors/actresses who just don't.

It wasn't game Jill. I mean she must've picked up the script, and tried to get in the characters head, in order to play them better.

I mean not every character is based on a video game version.

That's probably how everyone goes about playing a character in a movie. That said, this one is based on a game, so it's there for her to research and know. Like I said, that's her job....it shouldn't be a task or anything.

But, since the movies, and Sienna's portrayal have no bearing on the games, I don't really mind all of that so much.

I mean, if it's annoying at one point, I really got over it I guess....
