one question about resident evil 3.in resident evil 3 most of the R.P.D is barricaded and jill can't go through those areas.also nemesis jumps through a window to get to jill in the police department.in resident evil 2 (witch takes place 24 hours later) why is there no barricades or broken window? did marvin manage to take down the barricades? or the man who got blown up on the rooftop manage to take down the barricades?

RE3 and RE2 take place at the same time. RE3 starts first, then RE3 and RE2 pick up and pretty much end at the same time.

Where did you get that from? RE Wiki? The story of RE2 starts around the time when Jill gets infected in RE3 and they both end at the same time, the time when the city was nuked.

Like I said, RE3 happens at the same time as RE2, but starts first. Jill gets to watch the city get nuked and it's kind of unclear how long after RE2 that happens. Anyway, to answer your question, the barricades are not canon in the story. So they don't matter. In Resident Evil's universe, they probably didn't even actually exist.

Marvin isn't dead in RE3, Jill just mistakes his unconcious state as being dead. He regained his conciousness just before Leon got there.
