| They are the only ones we see change. I'm sure Richard and Kenneth both got infected. We just never saw them turn. And Wesker of course. But he's more complicated. | Nite, you might be right about Frost but I don't think Kenneth had the chance to turn either since his head was ripped off. I bet Kevin Dooley, though not exactly a STARS but a somewhat honorary member, got infected too. Also, depending on the scenario (and in Genesis), Barry is likely to get infected after his death though none of this is canon. You mean Marvin Branagh? I remember him giving Rebecca her signature "thumbs up" right as Bravo left to check out the area. Not too many have died by those. Joseph, Kevin....Edward....that's all that comes to mind. Nobody with too much screentime, that's for sure.

I'm sure it's as necessary as DC Douglas as Wesker, enemies dropping ammo when they die, rail shooters in RE, or anything else that is unnecessary. Oh, the stupid cover system in RE5.
