Definitely. Like the time when the small cage falls on you and a Garrador jumps into the cage with you! Not only that, but the Ganado's (or whatever the castle guys were. Zealots?) also in the cage as well as outside it, shooting arrows at you. And the only way to get out is too make noise, which happens to be the thing that draws the Garrador towards you. |
Exactly. We could give all kinds of examples all day. Some just overlook that kind of stuff, those moments in the game, and when they read negative comments or reviews about RE4, they just remember any negative stuff, RE4 was brilliant. It wasn't the only good game in the series, not at all, but RE4 most certainly doesn't deserve to be shunned.
And don't worry about the double posting business, I think I know what the problem is. Sometimes it seems like it's running slow and it takes forever to send the reply, then I end up posting like 3 or 4, pretty annoying. I guess I don't know exactly what the problem is, but you aren't the only one it happens too. _________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

| I like RE4 and all. There are two reasons I bash it though. 1. It is extremely overrated. 2. The story was pure shit. Definitely the worst story I've seen in a Resident Evil game. RE5 is pretty close to it though lol. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

| The story in Resident Evil 4 was cheesy and over the top but it was still entertaining. I did not think RE4 was overrated in the slightest and it defenintly exceeded my expectations when i first played it and completed it on Game Cube back in 2005. Resident Evil 5 aimed more for realism. RE5 had a lot more exepectations from fans to be good (which is partly why it did not do so well) and in my opinion RE4 was more of a playing with ideas and experimenting tye of RE game. If anything I think capcom did RE4 to give themselves the building blocks on how to structure RE5 in terms of gameplay and other asepects. Overall I defenintly think RE4 was the better game. Don't get me wrong RE5 was not a dissapoitment for me it just did not take my breath away. RE5 was good but RE4 was very a good game like the RE1 remake. In terms of enjoyment for me personally i would put RE5 up there with RE2 since i was not overly blown away by RE2 either |

Jamesy are you smoking the crazy stuff again? How was re5 aiming for realisim? it has been the most unrealisitc RE game so far. Just look at some of the uroboros creatures like Irvings final transformatio and Excella. Talk about over doing it. |

| i've noticed that to about the ammo deal, i fully upgraded my red-9 pistol and a full clip is 21 bullets, so when i find 2 box's of x10 pistol rounds i'm still like shit that isn't even a full clip! the shotgun shells are good, my striker holds 100, and it takes a ton of box's of 3-5 to fill it up. when i was able to buy the Chicago type writer i went crazy and blasted everything. my accuracy was 17% overall lol, but it felt good to pop a cap in some zombie ass! |

Hell I find magnum ammo more then I do find handgun ammo. So far im getting bored of the game cause im always using my shotgun unless I have to fight a boss. I remember a few years ago I never really experienced such a shortcoming with ammo.
So far im at the start of 5-4 and yet im shotgunning thru the damn level -_- goddammit I want to use my pistol. Seems shitty that I never have ammo for it considering I kill all enemies via headshot or knife and so far my shooting accuracy overall is 86 but thats forgivable considering my gamer rust.
Any one else have probs with this? my loadout is Semi Rifle, Blacktail, Striker, Broken Butterfly |
I would call that "Gamer's Luck" ever notice that when you start in a game sometimes you end up picking up some valuable items.
What I think happens is the possibility of rare items is be struck like spinning a wheel only to land on the $5000. Even though you may never have meant to do it, its like not aiming for something but you'll hit it because something your doing/gameplay is cause this. If you were to start your game over you would probably get more Handgun ammo.
Its like cheating to get all the Keys, if you never have to fight for the keys then there would be places you would never see, but in this case your odds of rarity even though 40% out of 100%, it more like %80 out 100%.
Think of it this way say something say you have a 90% chance of winning, which means you have a 10% chance of Losing and then you actually lose. Even though your chances were high, your chances of Losing are more like 20% out of 90%.
Its why I could hit a couple of criticals in a RPG game with a 2% chance of Critical. |

Now that you mention it, I don't remember a logical explanation behind Salazar's gaurds, what they were and all.
Either way, I doubt that is a logical complaint though, I meant realistic monsters, that's definatly an oxymoron._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |
