Resident Evil 4... Oh Resident Evil 4... You all remember what 'appened 'Ight?
Well... It was a complete Reboot. After the leaving of the original Producer/Director of the Previous Resident Evil games. there was Absoloutly Not Hope in getting our Old BELOVED NOSTALGIA game.

When i saw Gameplay footage ofr RE4 i thought: Zombies with guns?? , Yeah right. this game will suck.
And much to my suprise........I Was totally right.

Not that it was the Worst Game or anything. but it just didint add up. it wasnt THAT fun. it didint keep me playing It over and over and over and over and over.... just to Get the cool things. i mean how many of you Did a knife/Gun Run in the previous Resident evil games?, and how many of you Repeated it over for the Infinate Magnum/Rocket launcher?.

We all did. And it was fun. But for me In resident evil 4 as soon as i Finished , i Never wanted to play story mode again. Ever.

Now granted there are many Pros and cons to the new RE4. And things it stands out for and is better at than the previous Games. and im here today to count them down and give my verdict to resident evil 4 and you are welcome to reply with what everyou want because this thread is obvioucly O4D (Open 4 discussion).

Pros of RE4:

as a game ofcourse it has many fun things. And ill be counting those down:

1-The Graphix are Ofcourse amizing. and for a game of PS2, the same platform Code Veronica came out on. it was really Great for its time (Infact it might still be all the good stuff today)

2-The over-shoulder Look was actually a good improvement. i had personally gotten tired of the classic look , but if we had an option to turn on CLASSIC MODE. after we beat the game on Hard setting. that would have saved Capcom from FANRAGE.

3-The Mercinaries Mode is unfreaking beliveable. its just AWESOME in all meaning of the word. ofcourse it came from the Original RE3, but that One was really not something great. it didint have any setting. map select. or specific theme. except mindless numming zombie killin' action. But in this one it improved. [More on Mercenaries Below]

4-The creepy atmosphere.. appearantly The new producer still Knew that it was a horror game. and tried his Best to MAKE it Scary. aspecially with the part where you are in the experemental facilities. Where all the dark atmosphere builds as you enter the Prison. or when you are in the LAB and you see that spiked zombie creature thingy. coming through the door in the lab screen. YOU KNOW ITS THERE. and you KNOW you have no time. so think as quickly as you can. or else one hit kill will be your fatality.

5:Its a good Game as its OWN game. if the producer had taken it to another title. changed the characters. And some story he will have a completely new Game to work with. i mean the story of RE4 is pretty messed up. so just make it its own story (las plagas Nightmare)
