I think he's referring to Resident Evil Revelations. In reply to sammy.
Speaking of Revelations...I'm really loving it so far. I'm on Episode 4 right now. The central part of the game is so great. It feels like I'm playing Resident Evil REmake in a modern way. |

| I was re-watching the RE6 trailer and notice this (the top picture) I wonder if the rumored to be Sherry Birkin (The blonde woman) gets hurt? If it really is Sherry (which I believe it is, which then again I believed the Allyson woman in RE5 was going to be Sherry, that's besides the point...) I hope she lives and Chris saves her. and I'm also really hoping Claire didn't die like some think because you would think that she would make an appearance with Chris, Leon, and possibly Steve AND Sherry being in RE6... it would just make sense that she would be in it... so it worries me.

| Nothing is confirmed about those two characters yet. Stop losing sleep over it. |

just found this, pretty cool | That means RE6 is 4 years after RE5. RE5 was in 2009 right? all the characters are getting old lol Chris would be 39-40 now and Leon 36 lol and is it just me or does this new woman Helena kind of sound like Ada?

| You heard she has been confirmed. Hah. Right. Seeing how you're such a Sherry fan you'd believe anything wouldn't you? In your last post you're saying this: | Quote: | I wonder if the rumor to be Sherry Birkin (The blonde woman) gets hurt? If it really is Sherry (which I believe it is, which then again I believed the Allyson woman in RE5 was going to be Sherry, that's besides the point...) I hope she lives and Chris saves her. |
And this is just what you saidjust now.
| Quote: |
I've heard Sherry has been confirmed.
|
So? What is it?
Plus you look all over the Internet it is rumored by IGN. Last time I checked, IGN doesn't look like any Capcom officials. Even if they were they'd probably shut them down.
I'm not saying that isn't Sherry, I'm just sayin you shouldn't jump to conclusions. |

No, she has not. IGN saying they have "sources" does not count as official information._________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

"10 years after the Raccoon City incident" Apparently Capcom officials think that's 2013...
Making this game a sequel is just pure balls. By Resident Evil 7 Chris will be in his 70s. YAY! Either that, or they'll just end up rebooting the whole damn thing. Stupid move IMO. |

They already corrected that statement to be false. Besides, why the f would I count on IGN? Sure they could be right but they are not an official source in any way, shape or form.
What is the problem with the game being a sequel? You are propably the only person on the internet I've heard say that. I could care less if the game took place in the 80s or in 3478._________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

Pfft, since when? People have been b*tching for weeks about what year the game takes place.
You obviously care nothing for the characters of the series then. You have 5 games that are days and months from each other and now we have these games years apart. Just how old are these characters going to get? I wouldn't have mind if it was a sequel months after 5 but 4 years? If they keep going at this rate, they're going to need to reboot the entire series. Chris, Jill, Leon, etc. have been key characters in the Resident Evil series and to age them so much is just kinda stupid. I don't want to see a RE7 for a long time if that means they're going Solid Snake with these characters.
I wouldn't mind if they make a Revelations sequel that brings back the duo of Leon and Claire. They could add a new theme as well, maybe a heavy empathizes on snow? |

Since like, yesterday or something. It's all over Rely on Horror and sites like that.
I'm on a Resident Evil forum. How on earth can you even think I don't care for the characters? The story is the best thing in these games for me.
I don't mind them making a prequel or a side story or something but it's still good to keep the main games consistent on the numbering. I hate series that are so hard to follow chronologically. My personal theory on RE7 is that it either coincides with RE6 or happens just a while later._________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

Took them long enough to correct false news spread by themselves since the day it was announced.
"I could care less if the game took place in the 80s or in 3478."
That's what makes me think that. But yeah, I don't like the route they're going with this. Moving the series ahead so fast would just kill it for me. This isn't like Mario or Zelda where you can keep making loads of games without worrying about time frame.
I agree, but why four damn years? They just keep leaving gaps everywhere.

| Yeah, well obviously it was a bit exaggerated. My point is that I don't care when the game takes place.
The main games are usually set somewhere around when they're released so 2013 makes sense to me. Making progress makes sense. If they ever want to revisit past they can make another side game. There's no need to get totally obscure with the numbered titles. _________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |
