yes and hopefully there wouldn't be so much road blocks
|
In this game you could propably just jump over them Well, given this has a jump/leap command. |
Jumping, that's another thing that has never been in RE. Not jumping on command, usually if you see a button sequence, but nothing on the controller is assigned as a 'jump' button.
That's another thing that's stayed true with RE's controls throughout, well always.
Aiming to shoot, no jumping, just the little control things. I do hope they keep the controls as RE as possible._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

I hope that too. Maybe it only has a leap command that you get when near an object, like in Army of Two. You couldn't jump in that game either._________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

You also can't jump in wrestling games.
It's just an unnecessary thing in a lot of video games._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

Yeah especially the oracle of time and the windwaker, zelda and link jumped like a inch of the ground lol What I love about raccoon city is that it relates to most small country towns. You have all your local and well know franchise's, The main part of the city and all the extra's. It just gives a scary feeling that it could happen to any realistic town/city Also as Mass pointed out its very claustrophobic and the main routes in /out of the city are blocked off by either barricades or environmental debris that has occurred amidst the chaos. I Also like the fact that your are trapped in a small town that is full to the brim with zombies and other dangerous BOW's that threaten your survival and chance to escape. Also like the fact that normal everyday survivors are trapped in the nightmare and the actions the take for survival can make them a hero the disaster. The fact that a nice (maybe tourist attracting ) city, that has nice sights and beautiful landscape can be the front line of such a horrific viral disaster and also the way the environment is built it make it look like western city but also has Japanese influences to some architecture. Anyway that's my opinion, to sum it al up a wish raccoon city was a real city, I would move there obviously minus the viral outbreak. |

| Well, everything! The creepy envorionnement, the fact that you never know what's waiting around the corner, the fact that it seems almost real, the Raccoon Police Department, the strange foes, the allies, the cars abandonned everywhere, it's simply the perfect decor |

| Nic, you need to resize you signature big time. It's stretching the screen. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

In my opinion that was an element that made the game challenging You were limited on things you could do. Although there were parts that I would have LOVED the jump option. You only really got it in Link's adventures
I just think the newer games are way too easy, I mean TP was ok, but it was not that hard. Now Link's adventures! That stuff was impossible. MM and OoT were hard too, but nothing compares to the first two games. |

Yeah, I agree. Let's do that before you post anymore actually.
@Joker, I didn't get to play Twilight Princess, but I thought it looked cool.
About it being, "too easy", I mean I bet that might be a bit of an exageration, using Soul Reaver 2 as an example.
I remembered reading that it was, "Too easy", and while it wasn't the most challenging thing ever, it was anything but too easy.
Anyway, just pointing that out._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |
