Well, I only have some minor ideas because I don't wanna be disappointed when none of them comes true Very Happy Having the game set in a city that has not yet been used in RE would be great, such as London (I'd say New York too but it has already been used in a book). Either that or having the game set in China, Japan or Korea would be cool since that would give us totally new environments. Anyway, the setting isn't so important but I want it to be memorable. What matters is the story and how it's told. For a main character, seeing Carlos or Rebecca make a return would be just great. How about have them both? Now that'd be a twist. Maybe Barry as a minor character. The other possibility could be having Sherry as a kind of an antihero (and the main char), an antagonist slowly turning into a good guy. That'd be the first time you'd play as the "villain". Still, I'm totally open to new characters (the reason why I'm a fan of the spin-offs). I'd like them implement more horror elements on the game while still retaining the over the shoulder camera. Optional co-op is mandatory. I'm all for split-screen. One more thing: the ability to read all found documents in the menu screen <--- a MUST

I have the feeling that Japan would work well because it would combine the murky alleyways and the deserted forested areas. Although I like the idea of bringing back Carlos, possibly to rival Leon, I still think that they should introduce a new cast of characters. Definitely keep the over-the-shoulder view but greatly enhance it so that you can aim whilst moving/strafing, but with less emphasis on hand to hand combat such as knock out punches, choke slams etc.

Imagine over-the-shoulder view making your way through a dark, narrow corridor of a desolate hospital, with only a handgun and minimal bullets, and having a barrage of zombies break through the barricaded doubles doors, forcing you to retreat whilst aiming and shooting at the same time as you are slowly moving backwards.

Now I say zombies because this time around there could be different variants such as slower, weaker zombies and noticeably faster, stronger zombies, and lets not forget crimson heads.

The ability to move while aiming would be a great improvement, but the movement should be left to a slow walk/strafe since running and gunning wouldn't fit.
That desolated hospital thingy with minimum ammo reminds me of Silent Hill/Siren. Still, it'd be cool. I liked the hospital in Outbreak and the main series needs a memorable hospital scene. Reminds me, check out a RE2 mod called Dark Biohazard. I think I have made a thread for it in the mods section. Now THERE'S a lot of zombies for a RE game.

Btw. did you copy that from some of your other comment? Because I could've sworn I saw it earlier...

Hey, how about me and you make Resident Evil 6? Haha. The middle part I copied from another post, but I removed it first and then posted it to you. Would rather not clutter up the forum with the same comments. Yeah I remember watching a trailer for Dark Biohazard a while back. Looks pretty interesting and it would be nice to go 'oldskool' again!
