| Was RE6 announced and I missed it? Well if it wasn't, it kind of has been now. That Inafune guy from Capcom said that they want RE6 on store shelves as soon as possible. The last I heard, they weren't even sure if they were going to make one. Now all of a sudden they want it out...now! This should make Jamesy's day. | We recently reported on Capcom's plans of trying to get high profile games to the market quicker in order to help the company make more money
from their sales. Of course, this strategy would likely include the Resident Evil franchise, as it has been one of Capcom's most successful properties since its debut on the original PlayStation. Today, global head of production at Capcom, Keiji Inafune, made it clear that the announcement of Resident Evil 6 would be coming sooner rather than later.
In statements made to 3DJuegos (via 1Up), Inafune says "Given the great success which led to us Resident Evil 5, we want Resident Evil
6 to hit the market as soon as possible." He continues "In fact, Capcom will have news about this soon..." This likely means that we'll be getting the announcement of Resident Evil 6 at this year's Tokyo Game Show, as it would seem the most likely venue for an announcement such as this.

Guys guess what I just found out! I think this needs to be seen.
