| Oohhhh Silent Hill.
Silent Hill - I haven't played too far into this one so I can't really give a good opinion of it.
Silent Hill 2 - Now this was my first Silent Hill game and I rather enjoyed it. I got the Greatest Hits version and it allows you to play Maria's part of the story, which is pretty cool. I liked how it actually freaked me out when the environment and everything would shift from what appeared to be a normal deserted town to hellish nightmare realm or torture and lies. I felt bad for Angela after you learn her story. I found Eddy strange after first meeting with him in the apartment. And my first introduction to Pyramid Head I shall never forget. Hiding in that closet hoping he doesn't tear it open and yank me out. And then little Laura, I like the one ending when James takes her home with him and you learn about her connection with Mary. I found this game to be very twisted and interesting and it got me to look into the rest of the series.
Silent Hill 3 - I also enjoyed this one though I feel I can not fully grasp it as it now as I've never beaten the first of this series. Though I found the truth behind poor young Heather rather shocking in the end it's like it gave a whole new outlook on the cursed town. The twisted Amusement Park was an even bigger thrill, especially with all the dead Robbie the Rabbit costumes lying around with blood seeping from them. And Claudia you derange crack head, you were so loony and crazy it's a good thing died. And I still feel bad for the poor guy you stabbed in the back! Who's name of which I can not currently remember at this moment. The monsters were also creepy per usual.
Silent Hill 4:The Room - I own this game but have yet to even start it. =/
Silent Hill: Homecoming - I've yet to beat this one but so far I like it. I've made it to Silent Hill and am weaving my way through it. Nothing beats a classic Bubble-faced Nurse coming at you with whatever weapon she has at her disposal!
I also started Shattered Memories for the Wii once I do believe... Or was it Origins? I can't remember as I had rented them both out at the same time. It might have been Origins as that's the one with the truck driver in it, am I right? But anyways I enjoy playing this series. It has some good scares! I've always thought though, if they ever combined the music and sounds of Silent Hill with Resident Evil gameplay that'd be pretty awesome. In my opinion at least. |

| Shattered Memories is on the Wii but I think 0rigins was only for PSP and PS2... Maybe you played both And yes, 0rigins had the truck driver. It was a nice throwback in Homecoming when you were in the same truck at the beginning. _________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Steam Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link] |

| Oh it was Origins then. Because one of them that I had rented I never got to start I was too hooked on the other one. And yeah I noticed that, it was nice to see Travis again giving Alex a lift to Shepherd.
And I tell you what, those parents are twisted in Homecoming. I could never do to my child(when I have one that is) what they did to their children. |

| I really need to go and beat Homecoming again. See if I actually find all the photos this time.
So, are you excited for any of the upcoming SH titles? _________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Steam Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link] |

| I've heard that after SH3 they really went downhill. I played and beat SH1 when I got it off PSN from a buddy and I loved it. That's what made me want to pick up the HD Collection. Also, SH2 was the very first PS2 game I ever owned, and I was like seven at the time. Bad, bad decision. It kept me up at night for days. Luckily like a week later I got the Simpson's Road Rage and I was good haha. |

| I never thought the series has gone downhill. Actually 4 and 5 are my favorite parts of the series. _________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Steam Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link] |

| I love the Silent Hill series, but I don't get why people always consider 2 to be the best. My favorite's 3 for sure, Heather's just too cool and the scares seem more intense. I actually liked 4 too, even if it was kind of a step away from the series. The haunted apartment always creeps me out so much.
I didn't really like Homecoming or Origins so much though. There's just too much action for trying to keep it old school. I don't think I'll bother with Downpour since I heard it's pretty bad. |

I am actually. Downpour looks like it's gonna be another good one in the series and I can't wait to take it for a spin.
And the Judge is so rude in Homecoming. ._. And I think what her daughter, Nora(Asphyxia), turned into is now my favorite boss in that series. |

No offense Mass but I can't really listen to your input on games seriously because generally you really love just downright bad games. Such as some of the RE spin-offs. |

Just because you don't like them doesn't make them bad. So you don't listen to him just because he doesn't always love the most popular games? |

I like them and my friends like them. So what if I have a different taste than you? Even if I am able to find good things from games most people think are bad doesn't mean I can't recognize an actually bad game._________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Steam Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link] |

Not what I said. I said I don't listen to him because he raves up games that ARE bad in my opinion. But anyway, has anyone heard any news about another patch for the PS3 version of the SH Collection? Because I'm starting to lose hope. |
