the ending bosses are what got me the most in those games...I had a hard time getting enough combo hits on them before they regenerated their health...those broken neck ghosts did get me too though

I hate the bosses, all of them. I couldn't play the first one because of the blind
ghost. T__T It took me 6 months literally just to get myself together
and play the game.

the boss in the third game gave me no trouble at all just the ones in the first two

The blind ghost is the hardest for me. Because when she stays in one spot
I can't tell which way she's going to appear. 'Cause sometimes she stays there
and you can get a proper shot, or she disappears and flies towards you like
2 meters from left or right. D:

I just thought of a few older ones. The first is Parasite Eve... Not so much the game in general but the Chrysler building was seventy something floors of hell. The other is Top Gun on the NES, as a child I could never land on the damn aircraft carrier. I did rectify that a few months ago when a buddy bought it for his NES. I don't know if I ever felt that much of a sense of accomplishment in my life.

It isn't a series...but try Demon's Souls. I fucking dare you.
