Hi everyone, new to the forums here and need help with Resident Evil Remake.

Basically, I'm playing through as Chris and I'm at the bit where you need to fight plant 42. I did the book puzzle to get into the room where the plant is, but then I realised I didn't have enough ammo so headed back to the save room item box. However, once I got back to the door with the book puzzle, the middle book is missing. The puzzle hasn't reset, the books still make up the picture, but the middle book is gone for some reason and I can't get back into the room to fight the plant. I've tried going back to the room where I got the red book, but it's not there. Is this a glitch or has Wesker come and taken it or something?

I think something like that may have happened to me once....don't remember though. You might have to play through from the beginning, you might also find that you have enough ammo on your new run.

Otherwise, what about the double doors you left the Plant 42 room from, those should be open.
