Wow. You seem to fall in line with someone who is quite insecure if you can't take it when someone disagrees with you. I find it hard to believe you have degrees in those areas when you think me arguing my own point rationally is "going for the jugular". I was not trying to imply that you are stupid. Actually I can take argumentation quite well. I've debated in front of audiences, and had debates with people in college newspapers. What I cannot stand is a depraved man-child who seems to think he is entitled to talk down to people. You firstly mocked my intelligence by stating that I had not read the conversation, which I had. Secondly, you did it again by saying I had virtually no rationale for my argument. That seems to me, in that instance that you were trying to say I did not think out something before I typed it out. You actually did do something wrong, whether you were ignorant or cognizant of what the implications of what you said were.

I could really care less if you cannot believe that I have a degree in those fields. You seem to have trouble identifying how to talk like a civilized person. I need no lecture from some one who referred to a 15 year old poster as a, "Fag" on how to have a debate. I've also worked in sales and I'll tell you if I talked to any of my clients the way you did, I would have been out on the street so fast. The issue is not you disagreeing with me, it is the fact that you have the manners of an angry 6 year old boy.

Haha. Well aren't you silly? I really think you are overreacting here and being very over sensitive. This is the goddamn Internet man. Calm down. This is not like dealing with clients. This is not lecturing in front of a big audience. The difference between you and me is that I can turn work on and off. I can't imagine how stressed you must be coming here and feeling that everything should be the way it is in a lecture hall. And you know what? It's not like I go off on cursing rants. I don't let people down on a regular basis. If they say something utterly dumb, I will call them out. To be honest, I do that every day where I work. I'm straight and to the point about everything. If my coworkers do something wrong, I usually call them stupid while showing them how to do it correctly. I don't work anywhere prestigious or even what you might call "formal". But I can tell you that I treat people I know in real life the same way I treat people here and everything is okay. But then, most people aren't like you. They know when to chill out. Let loose. The issue is that you speak condescendingly to people. You just pointed out that you call people out on things if you think they are dumb. That goes ahead to show how you have the mindset.

Secondly, my point with working in sales is that I know how to have manners with people and treat the kindly on a day to day basis. You do not. Also man, I've seen people like you who constantly point out other people's flaws. You may not think there's any problem with that kind of behaviour, but I'll tell you from experience that people who act the way you do are in general hated, but most people are much kinder than you and will not point out what a jerk you are being.

The point with my degree was that I have worked in fields where vigorous debate is encouraged and often engaged in on a day to day basis. I know when some one is being rude because they are not confident in their points, and I know from experience when they are condescending. My degree does mean something because it shows experience in a field where diversity of opinion is celebrated. None of us whether liberal, conservative, socialist, theocrat, or so on always spoke with each other with the up most respect. It has nothing to do with a lecture hall though at the end of the day. If everyone acted the way you did, the world would go to hell in a handbasket because it would be filled with egomaniacs who could not cooperate with eachother. It has to deal with being a respectful adult. That is clearly somewhere where I hope you can do some development and improve yourself.

We were arguing about fictional characters and could have no way to know who would win. So should we not just go with the character that has the best evidence in their favor?
