| Well my favorite video game series is getting yet another addition and I am really looking forward to it...Silent Hill 8 is a working title and it should be out sometime next year...it looks like it will be much better then the last game Shattered Memories...here is the trailer...

| How come it's called 8? Since Homecoming was 5th in the main series and Origins was "0". Shattered Memories was only a re-imagining of the first one. Then there's of course the spin-offs but... Well, it just sounds really odd to me.
Anyway, a really good looking game. Looks definitely better then 5. Waiting for more footage. _________________ ~The Weapon of Mass Distraction~ COMMUNITY:Resident Evil Forums Chat Group: [link]Resident Evil Forums Facebook: [link]Come check my Let's Plays: [link]Gaming forum I'm moderating: [link] |

Freaking sweet. I just finished Dante's Inferno. Good game but levels are too short. And I don't exactly understand how they are going to make a sequel, because it says to be continued at the end. Oh well. |

I agree... they must have some lunatics coming up with that stuff cause they outdo themselves every single time. I am currently playing Homecoming right now cause a friend let me borrow it. I had forgotten just how twisted and creepy those games are. I never played much of 3 or 4 but Homecoming kinda reminds me (so far) of 2. SH 2 is easily in my top 10 games of all time.
ETA.... Silent Hill games still make me feel uneasy. I won't let my kids watch me play those at all and I just about refuse to play them in the dark. Those games are so twisted and cryptic..... I do still get goosebumps playing through those. They must use Charles Manson as an art director or something, sane people don't come up with that kinda stuff. |

you should really think about playing through SH3...I think it is the darkest game out of the whole series...it just has strange environments and sounds throughout that make you go wtf!!! especially toward the end of the game...and I agree SH2 is in my top 10 too |

| I'm actually getting pretty excited about this game now. It's about time for another GOOD scary game. Oh and sorry to cut away from my random posts so to compensate here is a picture of a dog trying to teabag himself. Enjoy |

| Alan Wake is probably the most recent good scary game to come out...I havent played it yet but it looks fantastic...I am hoping that this Silent Hill can bring back some classic scares again |
