I just got resident evil 4 in one of those thats hot double shots with dark messiah and when i put in the cd nothing happens it doesn't come up with a error or anything i'm using vista and have 4 GB of ram and i can play oblivion dark messiah and every other game iv'e ever tried on my computer can someone plz help

I wouldn't worry about it too much. You may be lucky. Anyway, the disk may be scratched to hell but assuming you aren't a total super noob and have already checked for scratches, I'd say maybe your CD isn't a CD at all. Maybe it's a DVD and you are trying to play it in a CD-ROM drive. Also...I don't know how to ask this without insulting your intelligence, but you aren't trying to play the Gamecube or PS2 version of the game on a PC are you?

Just punch or kick the computer. 1 time out of 10 it works for me.... the other nine times I had to get a new computer. Did you buy it from a business with a return policy? If so go swap that badboy out for another copy.
