So I figure I should post an introduction, seeing that as I'm new. (and doesn't hurt to get some posts in).

Basically I've been a Res Evil fan ever since I was 10 when I saw the first movie (yes I got into the franchise through the movies, not the games).

Recently I've started collecting the figures. Almost got a few series together.

And Tyrant is the sweetest, then Lickers. lol

And the books are great too, the first one and zero hour by far the best, goes down hill from there thou. Code Veronica wasn't very enjoyable.

That sums it up.

Did you find about RE by yourself at that age or did somebody show it to you?

Firstly the second movie is the best lol.

Basically it was me and my friend who shared a common like for the movie. I probably first saw it when my parents rented it or something like that. Me and my friend probably watched one of the movies at least twice a month. So as the other movies came out we continued too see those. Eventually I moved to a different province. My like for res evil grew into the games and action figures and books, while his I believe ended at the movies..

It was a long time ago (like 6 or more years).

Welcome, and don't feel ashamed by getting ushered in by the movies.

I agree about the novels, at least about Code Veronica, that is the one I was most excited to read when I was going through them, but it was definately the most dissapointing of the seven.

I don't know which one I liked most, either the first one, or the 4th one, which is the original title, Underworld.

Haha I am not ashamed :p I'm quite happy. The movies are fantastic in my opinion. I read the books of the original story, I played the game of the original story, its nice to have a different take on the resident evil story.

1st Novel had the most suspense, and the mansion was the best. 4th wasn't bad but not my favorite. the 3rd (city of the dead) was a let down, I expected more from it. Still good, but expected more from Racoon City!.
