| Hey! hope you all are ok  ! well I have a question I have always wondered why Umbrella CORP has like a personal army  are they terrorist? (Nemesis Movie) Why Wesker left S.T.A.R.S. ? and when Spencer took him and made him a "product" >_< Sorry for my stupid english I'm from Chile, lol I speak Spanish. have a nice day guys  |

They aren't technically terrorists. The virus outbreak was an accident and while they were trying to make bio-organic weapons, it was not for anything but money and power. They didn't want to take over the world, at least not that we know of. They were going to sell their stuff to the highest bidder. And their personal army wasn't an army. It was a biohazard countermeasure team made up mostly of mercenaries like H.U.N.K.

Wesker only made STARS in order to use them as test subjects for the bio-organic weapons at the Spencer Estate. He was planning on leaving not only STARS, but also to leave Umbrella. After he got "battle data" from the STARS members fighting the creatures, he was going to sell it to an unknown organization. Maybe Tricell, maybe not. It's not clear. To do this, he was going to fake his death by being "killed" by the Tyrant after injecting himself with a special virus given to him by William Birkin. @Nite, in addition to the Umbrella Special Forces, there is also the UBCS, which is more of a military group.

I thought he also had something to do with its creation.
I looked it up. The establishment was funded by Umbrella, so Al had a part in its creation in that respect, though he wasn't extremely high in Umbrella...he still knew what STARS was meant to be used for. | Umbrella was a larger than life corporation. I am sure that they had many lawmakers, judges, etc... in their pockets. It wouldn't suprise me at all if they kept a standing "army" or that many people turned a blind eye as long as Umbrella kept the money coming. |

Well yeah, Umbrella had established it, and with Irons in their back pocket, Al was easily placed in a higher-up role at RPD, in STARS. While I think it is pretty easy to assume he had nothing to do with actually creating it, Capcom was clever, and evasive, in the way they had said it, in the History thing that is. They had said "STARS was founded with Wesker as Captain".
Also, I personally like to think he didn't for another reason too, since Wesker has become such a noob character, all kinds of unnecessary little perks like that(creating STARS, being part of some grand scheme, etc) is just fueling it..._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |
