| Hey guys the DrunkenKiller has finally joined! If i'd known about this site earlier i would have joined ages ago. I've been a resi fan for years and i personally miss the old days when it was "Survival horror" but i still enjoy this new age of survival action. Hopefully ill be able to discuss my thoughts and ideas here in the future.

Welcome and enjoy. Well I don't want to start a debate, but "survival action" isn't really correct. Survival/Horror/Action is much more fitting. Of course the only RE game that would have that label, would be RE5.
As for old days, it would certainly be much more scary, and leave more of an impression if you play it when you are younger, versus playing it nowadays, where most of us don't scare at the slightest thing in a game...
