| Maybe so, but WOULD Capcom do something like that? I'll admit it'd be nice to have 4 billion zombies running after you at once, instead of like seven max, but would they really put that much effort into it?
I dunno, part of me thinks that if Capcom set it like in China, they'd get real lazy with it. |

If Capcom made this game with an intense population, the very gameplay itself would need to be changed to support survival. The third person would need to be tweaked for strafe-and-aim situations or maybe even go to first-person altogether. This would be something that i dont think Capcom would want to do. Very few senarios could prove this false. |

| Capcom can come up with quite a few ways that could work. For isntance, while China is the most populous country on Earth, it isn't the most population dense. If it was set in the country side, while there would be a lot of people, they wouldn't be crowded in enormous amounts. It's also possible that it could be a post-apocalyptic type setting, with few people even around. The only places the population would really be an issue is places like Hong Kong, or other large cities. |

| But why would they want it set in the countryside of China? Aside from a few rice paddies, it would be just like our own countrysides. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

I think it could work well in a populated city, like Hong Kong.
I would like to see people trying to hold them off on the streets, much like Raccoon City in RE3, and being able to move around in the city, as well as go inside buildings.
Anyway, where ever Capcom chooses, I think they can make it work, hopefully they don't go and make something really cool and scary looking(RE5), then change it all within the last year...because of nonsense._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

I guess what matters to major companies is different than what matters to fans of the series.
Capcom cares more about money, and they knew that if even one person said the words "Capcom" and "racist" in the same sentence their sales would go down. So they screwed up the game to make more money.
Regardless of whether we hate what they did with it, they knew we'd buy it. Why pander to people who'll buy it anyways, when you can appeal to other audiences without losing us? |

I'd like to think Shinji Mikami cared about the fans of the series, the characters and the storyline...shame he is gone._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

| Capcom definitely is too bad considering some game companies out there right now. Activision, EA (getting better), Square Enix _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

Square Enix especially. The Final Fantasy series was amazing.
But back to Capcom.. I think if they realized how their experimentation with the series is destroying the games themselves, they'd fix things. |

Experimenting, how?
I've seen alot of experiments, like with trying out 1st person, as in the Survivor series, or even online with Outbreak, or adding in dodging maneuvers or explosive barrels in RE3. Most seem to work out well, if not, then they usually drop it, or alter it in some way._________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

| They're branching out so far from where the games used to be. They make them more like action games each time, and while the general populace loves it, i think they're going to end up going to far and by RE6 or RE7 turn it into a first person action blast-em kinda game like CoD or Borderlands. |

They still seem mostly the same, sure alot of changes. What do you think about the differences between RE3 & RE4?
Who knows where they will take the series, if it is meant to be a reboot, then it might be something like L4D...I personally hope for a few more games that play as well as RE5(gameplay wise), but don't require relying on a partner...isolation, that is definately something I miss in the series...perhaps they should mix it up, make a game work on isolation(RE3), then have something with partners(Outbreak), then have some more isolation(RE4), then more partner stuff(RE5)..., etc, yada yada yada... _________________ -Vae Victus-Suffering To The Conquered-"The ultimate lifeform...Tyrant", Albert Wesker, REmakeConsumer Recreation Services |

They should do something with the gameplay and quality of RE5 but the option like in Outbreak. Where you aren't obligated to rely on partners, and on top of that they're even optional.
That way, if you want to do it alone (either for challenge or added thrill) you can, but if you want some help you can play with a partner or two without relying on them to open every other damn door and save your ass every two minutes. |
