| She wasn't IN Degeneraton, she was mentioned in the featurettes.
"In the "Generation Of Degeneration" video featured on the extras section of the DVD/Blu-ray release of Resident Evil: Degeneration it was stated that a CG movie continuing the events of the series may be released in the future, and that it could focus on the current exploits of Rebecca Chambers."

It wasn't really implied, just that there was a possibility.
