| I don't have a problem with the Wesker children. How is it far fetched? And more far fetched than telekinesis/pyrokinesis? Please. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

I didn't say it was more far fetched than Alice's powers...I didn't like either. I really hated the Wesker Children thing. Wesker was a cool character, but it just takes away from his character's individuality, making there at least 12 or 13(including the initial researcher with the surname) Weskers.
It also adds unneccessary significance to his character, and with his overpopularity as of lately(which has fortunately died down a bit) is something I don't think he needs, especially with the changes that I personally dissaprove of in his character...
But it is part of the RE canon, and I have accepted it, I can just go with the flow now, so I can pretty much just look forward to Alex...._________________ How much liquour could a licker lick if a licker could lick liquor? | I just think the telekinesis bit is way over the top for even RE. _________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

| I thought the Wesker Children thing was pretty cool, it kinda added to the development of Wesker's character. It was a cool twist in my opinion, and a good move on Capcom's part. I liked it. |

I thought it was a poorly tacked on excuse for a backstory...
He had plenty of backstory already given to us, through the Wesker's Report, and definately through the written sequel. This Wesker Children thing is overkill...
Now I have pretty much gotten over that anyway, but it is one of the things I frown upon, kind of like Soul and Marcus' leeches. _________________ How much liquour could a licker lick if a licker could lick liquor? I guess we all have our issues with the story somehow or another. |
Yep, it just so happens that I thought Wesker was pretty cool, but when they screwed him up, like no other, I took it personally. I'm sure you have things you dislike about the series, certain character developments, or lack of..._________________ How much liquour could a licker lick if a licker could lick liquor? Yeah probably. I liked both of those guys, and I think Irving has potential for more roles, or he had for future roles, until...well you know._________________ How much liquour could a licker lick if a licker could lick liquor? | And they never really expanded on the IVANS beyond the two, one of which dies.. There's a lot they could've improved on, but they did what they did and we have to live with it. |

Abomination begging for apocalypse? Have you been watching the AVGN? Anyway, I think books make the transition to film quite a bit better than games have managed to. After all, The Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Bourne Series, The Hannibal Lecter series, Harry Potter, Twilight (ewwwwwwwww...but still a great success in monetary terms.), etc. have all been books before films. There are so many other great ones too, like To Kill a Mockingbird._________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |

You've got a point, but can you honestly say any of those were better or even equal to the books they're based on?
I've read The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, the Bourne Series, the Hannibal series, Harry Potter, and believe it or not, Twilight too. All of them are better than their movie counterparts. |

I think most of them were almost equal. The Lord of the Rings movies were extremely well done. The only thing keeping the movie versions back is the time limitations. Also, some directors and producers make really weird changes sometimes that often make little, if any, sense. Like the 6th Harry Potter movie, many things were changed for no reason and it was a pretty big disappointment. The 5th Harry Potter though, was I think the best film adaptation of the series so far. It was brilliant in my opinion and I really think Ralph Fiennes did an amazing job with Voldemort. But we must remember to take films at what they are, visual representations of the books. That alone makes them nearly incapable of being compared to the books, unless they are just plain screwed up. I think we can agree that of the above mentioned books-to-movies, we would rather have them, than not have them. They did the best they could with the limitations set forth from the beginning._________________ Leon Fanboys Please Click Here Wesker is officially dead: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1006931p1.html | NiteKrawler wrote: | | Jamesy wrote: | | Fine you win NightCrawler |
