You know, i'm with Nite on one thing, Anderson could've tried harder with the first movie, especially with trying to truly make it a prequel to the first game.
Because HONESTLY?
The whole Marcus/Leech BS in Zero?
Was REALLY stupid in my opinion.

I dunno, I thought it was kinda cool. I mean, they never really expanded on Marcus that much, it was always just, "Marcus is assassinated by Wesker and Birkin. The end."

I liked that they gave him a bigger role.

The Marcus/leech scenario was brilliant.

While I never got to play RE0, I watched a buddy of mine play it, almost all of it, and I loved the whole thing.

RE0 is awesome. Smile

Really? I mean the idea of it being a prequel is that it covers new ground, shows new stuff, of course now we can look back on it and say it has nothing to do with the games, but then could have been a plausible explanation for what happened. As I have said many times, it was Capcom's RE0 that started the film series downfall...and of course Anderson could have left it there, but since it was already something new, a different canon, he just went for the money route, and making movies he enjoyed.

Also, I found RE0 to be a terrific story, the whole thing with Billy & Rebecca was cool, then the sidestory stuff with Will & Al, as for Marcus(or rather the Queen Leech), a little over-the-top, but that is what RE is.

Also, the irony of seeing the way Marcus was shot down, compared to Birkin in RE2 was pretty cool.

I guess stuff in 2 with the G Virus and the way it mutates was more understandable while the whole Leech Queen/Marcus thing felt a bit ridiculous and if not forced.

I dunno about forced. I enjoyed watching it. As I said, never got the chance to play it, but it seemed like a really cool story, and I never had a complaint about anything I saw.

Almost ridiculous...still stays within the parameters of RE, but I found Marcus' younger self actually being the Queen Leech...a little farfetched.

Again, I still liked it, but it was almost too ridiculous, I think it flirted with that a little.

Haha, he's got a point. Wink Nothing's more ridiculous or far fetched than an umbrella designed human with telekinetic and pyrotechnic powers.

The one thing I liked about the 3rd movie was the idea of the survivors being in the buses...kind of cool, but the movie of itself was pretty lame. Certainly the thing pointed out...the epitome of stupidity.

Really?
Ozwell E. Spencer would like a word with you concerning creating a race of Super Humans and would like to talk about the "Wesker Children" Laughing

The whole concept of Umbrella creating a perfect human being, or the next stage in human evolution?
ESPECIALLY taking it into consideration now? Umbrella-Wise? The movies ironically in my opinion got it down pretty well.

That whole Wesker Children thing is something I thought was really stupid, it adds extra significance to Albert Wesker's character for no reason.

The idea of it is kind of stupid too, but since it is true, and part of the main series, I have to just accept it.

But while Spencer did intend to create superhumans, he never succeeded, so the Alice program makes no sense. And what was this crap about putting her up against Nemesis?

I just thought Alice in general was a stupid idea. Not to mention the thing in the third one about cloning her, repeatedly? Or how about the satellite thing?

It just seemed like trying to make once character as badass as possible and just making it stupid.
