I think RE5 was shorter in length than RE4. What bemuzes me is why capcom did not make the game longer considering RE5 is ending the orgininal resident evil saga and is Albert Weskers last game. Just seems a bit off to me.

It's not ending the original saga. We don't know what RE6 is going to be yet.

Maybe not but it is ending the Wesker and Chris saga depending if Wesker actually is dead.

More to the point which game is longer then RE5 or RE4. I swear RE4 was quite a bit longer.

To me RE5's story seemed almost rushed and lacked the charm of RE4's story and theme.

Yeah RE4 was like a movie. The ameican guy prevails over the evil Spanish.

re4 was definetly longer. a simple way to find out would go on both walkthrouyghs on youtube and whichever has the most videos is the longest

RE5 was EPIC, RE4 was not i'm afraid, ok RE5 may be a tiny bit shorter but the story was more epic then 4 and the hero was also more epic. RE5 had a better concept which was put together brilliantly, it had a great cast, new monsters, LICKERS!!! and of course Wesker and Jill...i mean come on that was an EPIC battle and what did RE4 have...saving pain in the ass it's your own fault Ashley...ok RE4 had Leon and he is cool but he has just been well over made...he's gone from cool in RE2 to a complete show off in RE4 and it put me right off him, plus all the new RE fans seem to think he's the only hero out there. It may have been the end of the Chris and Wesker saga but if you followed the stories close enough you would know that although Chris had a beef with Wesker he also had one with Umbrella and now will undoubtebly have one with Tricell too so there is much more to the saga as yet to be unfolded.

I don't care what you guys say because RE4 got a higer mark on IGN game website (one of the biggest game website on the net). RE5 just was not as good as RE4. But at the end of the day it is only your opinions, you guys do not account for the whole gaming world.

5 was great but re4 was more scarier.in the creepy village and the castle etc
